Gran Canaria Swim Week 2025
Gisela Tejera is the designer of the Arena negra swimwear brand. She began her journey in the world of fashion in 2008. Once she graduated in Fashion and textile dcesign at IED Barcelona, she worked for different Canarian brands as a freelance designer.
This brief career led her to coincide with the creation of swimwear colletions and attendance at international fairs such us SIMM an FIMI. Here, her interest in this sector began and in 2010 she returned to Barcelona to specialize in Industrial pattern for swimwear and corsetry. It was the she launched her first collection Arena negra 2013.

SUNSET: Inspired by sunsets, Sunset features a color palette ranging from yellows to reds, emulating this magical phenomenon of summer evenings. A collection brimming with details: screen printing, embroidery, and trimmings that add value to the premium fabrics used. Complete looks range from bikinis, swimsuits, beach and pool accessories, and, of course, our menswear collections.
