Elena Morales

Elena Morales is a Canarian designer and founder of the eponymous brand Elena Morales, a womenswear label committed to sustainable fashion and the principles of slow fashion.

From an early age, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in fashion. With the support of her family, she moved to Madrid, where she worked for various fashion brands before enrolling in the Fashion Design Degree at ESNE (now UDIT – University of Design and Technology).

In 2018, she launched her own brand, which today sells internationally through its e-commerce platform and is stocked in several multi-brand boutiques across Spain. All production takes place in Gran Canaria, her native island, where the atelier responsible for manufacturing and distributing the collections is based.

Curiosity, observation, and personal experiences are at the heart of Elena Morales’ creative universe. Travel and the discovery of new references fuel a creative process shaped by lived experiences, emotions, and learning. Research and the constant search for new ideas are an ongoing source of inspiration for the designer, who finds in every experience an opportunity to create. From this process emerge her collections, as well as the colours and fabrics that define each proposal, conceived as a reflection of her personal perspective and the stories that accompany her.

Elena Morales has been part of the Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida programme since 2019, a platform that has helped her expand, internationalise, and increase the visibility of her brand. In 2021, she joined ACME (the Association of Fashion Creators of Spain), of which she remains a member today, with the support of Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida.
