Dolores Cortés

DOLORES CORTÉS continues a family tradition of more than seventy years in the design and manufacture of women’s swimwear, originally established in the 1950s by her mother, who handcrafted these garments before the emergence of modern elastic fabrics.

In the 1980s, Dolores Font Cortés revived this legacy and began designing her own collections, produced in her workshop under the brand name Dolores Cortés, in tribute to her mother. Her goal was to integrate the concept of fashion into a technically demanding product, positioning swimwear as a trend-driven garment.

Since 1999, the brand has maintained a strong presence on both national and international runways, participating in events such as Pasarela del Carmen, Pasarela Gaudí, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid (continuously since 2007), Gran Canaria Moda Cálida, and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami.

In 2012, she designed the swimwear for the Spanish National Synchronized Swimming Team at the London Olympic Games. In 2017, the company received the National Award for SMEs in the Fashion Industry. Today, the brand is present in both domestic and international markets through department stores and its own retail locations.
