A scripted life, by Dan Ward - My life has always begun with water… a place where everything becomes quiet and clear. I was born in America, but my childhood unfolded between cultures. With my French and Italian parents, at eleven, Japan became home. Its calm, its purity, its subtle beauty contrasted with my European-American culture, shaped the way I see the world.

Discipline & Movement - Structure is fundamental to me. I have swum competitively for most of my life. Water taught me discipline, focus, and the power of restraint. How precision creates freedom and strength.

Curiosity & Global Life - Curiosity carried me far from science to photography, from Paris to London, Switzerland, Florence. Each place refined my eye, and sharpened my sense of what matters.

Birth of DANWARD - After over 25 years of creating for others such as Hermès, Bally and Calvin Klein, I wanted to express something personal. Resort wear for a modern traveler that is sensual, minimal, confident.

Brand Essence - DANWARD is a clear language. Elevated swim and resort wear, where quality speaks softly, and sophistication is felt, not shown.

Evolution - The ethos expanded naturally into our womenswear line, launched three years ago. We design for women who value the same confidence, the same ease, the same quiet strength.

Today & Vision - Today, DANWARD moves from strength to strength. Defined by clear codes, a precise language, and a vision shaped by culture, craft, and the sea.
