Arantxa Arenas
Gran Canaria Swim Week 2025

Arantxa Arenas is the creative mind behind the brand. Born in Valencia, she has been living in Gran Canaria for over ten years, where she finds inspiration in its natural and cultural environment. Her textile project began in Berlin in 2010 as a self-taught designer, and after training in Las Palmas and completing an internship in Rome, she professionalized the brand in 2017. Since then, the brand has grown and is distributed across all the islands. It is characterized by its commitment to sustainability, creating conscious collections, managing its own waste, and obtaining responsible certifications. Additionally, it is known for redesigning the “sombrera graciosera,” an iconic accessory that has gained popularity. They continue participating in fashion shows, editorials, and other creative activities with great passion.

SS26 COLLECTION

“Goddesses of the Sea” is a collection of women's and men's swimwear that celebrates strength, sensuality, and personal freedom of expression. With this capsule, they decided to fully dive into the adventure, stepping out of the familiar to work with new silhouettes, materials, and techniques.

Their inspiration comes from the book The Goddesses in Every Woman by Jean Shinoda Bolen. The different designs pay homage to the goddesses and gods of the Greek pantheon — Artemis, Aphrodite, Athena, Demeter, Persephone, Hera, and Hestia; Zeus, Poseidon, Apollo, Ares, Hephaestus — representing the multiplicity, strength, and fluidity of the human experience.

From tones that evoke the depths of the Atlantic to cuts that suggest freedom, restraint, or sensuality, each piece is an invitation to reconnect with the inner divinity. These swimsuits are designed for real, diverse, and powerful people who see fashion as an act of personal expression but also as an ethical statement.

Each swimsuit is made with the care of those who believe fashion can transform; that dressing can be a ritual act; and that honoring nature, the body, and the feminine/masculine is the beginning of a new way of inhabiting the world.
